The partnership.
The collaboration between Allegrini and VOIhotels is founded on the necessity to care for guests in a sustainable manner, offering products for personal care and for ambiance. The hotel chain, part of the Alpitour Group and founded on the basis of true Italian hospitality (Vera Ospitalità Italiana, the origin of the name) has put its trust in Allegrini’s extensive experience in the cosmetics sector.
This collaboration is based on responsible consumption, including of amenities, eliminating the use of single-dose products and guaranteeing a range that is plastic-free, without water and free of preservatives. This is how the business unit was called on to apply its know-how to VOIhotels and to the entire world of tourism.
Solid formulations.
A new line of solid cosmetics has been created by the R&D laboratories of Allegrini exclusively for VOIhotels. It is the DPlanet - Do Not Disturb the Planet - line, which includes hand washes and shampoo and shower gels free of preservatives, without water and totally plastic-free. As well as the formulations, the packaging is totally sustainable as it is made of waterproof FSC-certified paper.
The advantages? One only has to consider that each pack containing two tabs of DPlanet is equivalent to a 30-ml bottle of liquid solution. If we compare 10 million bottles with 12 million DPlanet flowpacks, the result is a saving of 83,694 kg of plastic, equivalent to the consumption of a small European city with a population of 50 thousand over the course of a month.
